Over the last few days I have been going trough the Group Permissions, Forum Permissions, and the User Permissions & Management. I have noticed that there a bunch of things that are out of place, improperly assigned, bad permission control, and faulty access grants. I have been going through each and every user 1 by 1 trying to get things sorted out.

So now I need everyone's help. I need each of you to look at the forum from the main portal to each individual forum section. I need all of you to let me know if you can properly access the different area's of the forum. Below I will list what each group should be able to access so you can have an idea of what you should and should not see. The largest worry I have is guests being able to access anything at all, which they should not be able to see anything except for the portal, but I also am concerned that each clan member have access to everything as well. There is one section you should not have access to but that's just for the Admin types and a very few others.

So take a good look around at everything and make sure your in. Each section shows the access level and how many sub sections are present. The group membership you have defines the level of access you should have. I realize this may be a pain in the ass for you, but it needs to be straightened out so that each member get the maximum enjoyment and information from your forum. Koojo and I may administer the forums, most of you might remember what this place was like before Koojo started working on it. 381st_madizm1976 as the moderator has i ginormous job keeping things organized. When it comes down to it though, this is your forum and I want to make sure you each get the most from the 381st experience.

If something isn't right post it on up in here, I am still going through things like Calender Access and each individual account access, but I wanted to post this for all of you now that I am close to being done.

THE GROUPS:

Level 1 = Guest
Level 2 = Registered Member
Level 3 = Clan Member
Level 4 = Squad Leaders
Level 5 = Forum Moderator
Level 6 = Administrators

PORTAL: Level 1

THE PUBLIC SECTION:

Contains 2 subsections

2 Bit Computers = Level 1
381st SPS AA Clan = Level 2

REGISTERED MEMBERS SECTION: Level 2

Contains 8 subsections

381st SPS CLAN SECTION: Level 3

Contains 6 subsections

ADMINISTRATORS AND MODERATORS:

Contains 3 subsections

Administrators Forum = Level 6
Moderators Forum = Level 5
Squad Leaders Forum = level 4

OK, I think I have it all sorted out now. Keep in mind that there are a few non-clan members that have access to 1 of the Clan Member Forums, and there is 1 Honorary Clan Member, by that I mean the person is not a clan member but they have status, that even has access to the Admin section.

If you see something that looks outta place it's ok to make mention so that I can look into it, and if you think you should have more access than you do, again say something. I am positive though that no one has more access than they should so we should be ok in that regard.
