Hi All,
First and formost THANK YOU all for stopping by the Snakplain server,the server rank is about to break above the 200 mark thanks to you guys and gals! If I have missed adding any of you as Player Admins I apologize,just let me know and it will be done in a day or two.
Snakeplain,I believe is an unstable map from the start,none would disagree on that point.
I have been tweaking the .INI file here and there to try and reduce the number of crashes on the server,If you notice the opposite affect let me know and I'll undo the changes.
After combing the forums of several sites about the Snakplain map,there are alot of opinions about the problems,none of which are more than speculation at this point.
I have played several rounds on the map with only 2 people and been able to crash the game at will,here are the results:
1. Jav's fired too close together has a tenedency to crash the server,however school is still out on how lomg to wait between,30 seconds may well be enough.
2. BTR and BMP hunting with H2 can bring the server down,almost at will!
3. The number of players does not seem to matter,be it AI or Human.
4.It would appear killing the AI driven vehicles is a primary "weak" point on this particular map causing to server to fataly terminate.
I would surly appreciate any other opinions or observations you may have,as I have tweaked the game files as much as I dare without comprising the quality of the graphics which may or may not help.

In closing you will see a few Player Admins on the site from time to time,the 381st can't be everywhere all the time,just as our Interdiction server has a few "outside"Admins on it,same deal.
kinder88 pays half the cost of the server,He is a personal friend and grade school chum who refuses to clan up,Despite my best efforts.
soldier_d00d is a good player who is fair-minded.
DELTA=1LT=Rierson is a good player as well and fair-minded.
Apoch_eyeonu is a friend of the 381st and also has Player Admin.
Please Admin with the guys and don't be offended at there Admin privaledges,like you and I they are here for the fun!
A special THANK YOU to SilverGhost and kinder88 for keeping the anticheat software up to date,as well as other server issues that arise.
If the crashing becomes too bad I will reload the server software,let me know.

all cool with me . i don't ply much snake plaine but when i do threes always a bunck of good players there. once in a while there might be a but head that will get kicked . i just hope i don't over step my boundrys. and if i offend anyone i realy don't mean to.thanks for the server and the privlages

Good observations on this Map AJ, Hopefully with the introduction of 3.0 coming soon maybe they will either fix this map or give us more options as far as coop maps go.

Thanks man. As long as the server starts back up after a crash, no problem. It crashed the other day when I was playing, but it rebooted itself right after

Thanks for the support guys,any hints we will try them.
Also we will be updating to 2.8.4 on the server tonight,there will be some down time(hopfully not too much) and setup of the admins again.
If I missed anyone who wants player admin on the Snakeplain let Silver or myself know and it will get done.
