AA3 Release Date

Well, the release date has come and gone, with no answers mind you. Have any of you actually been able to even log in?

Can't log in, cant play the game, can't get any help, the forums aren't even working 100%.

I'm thinking maybe in 6 months or so I'll try again. We have waited this log for a cluster fuck, might as well wait a little longer.

Greatest army in the history of the world can't get a game server set up. Shoulda had the Air Force or the Navy do that part for them...Fuck!

yes I have been able to log in and do one training before the server crashed and lost it all.
I am going to try again later.

Ya they're having a lot of problems with the authentication severs. I've done a couple trainings, some of them save and the others the servers crash and nothing saves. They're working on it though. They should have know this was going to happen though.

Whats up guys? I just got back from Vacation and I didnt have time to post before I left about the AA3 I only got to play it for a couple days. I LOVE IT!!!! Plays very well on my new PC had a few glitches to work out like disabling the anti aliasing on my computer so I could see the maps stuff like that but overall I am once again in love with AA

. Anyway I hope you guys get things worked out so we can all play the new game and silver send me a pm on where to send some help toward the cost of the new server I can donate a bit for the cause.

yupper it still has some bugs but it orks very well much better then 2.85 I run full screen 16-9 and I am maxed out on all settings with my twin 260 video cards.

I forgot to ask and mention I do Have 1 problem that I havent been able to figure out. ALL Servers with PunkBuster Enabled I cannot play I go into room wont let me click to join or anything WIERD!!

many updates check them first. also are you using the old beta? if so grab download at steam.
you need to do training before shooting the bad guys. lol

Hope you had a good vacation! Good to see your back!

I'm still not sold on AA3, but I haven't played that much yet. I've actually had a few systems to work on and I got handed a few older systems that I've been working on to donate to poor kids. Just something I do with older systems so that kids at least have some exposure to technology.

I digress...

From what I've seen so far AA3 is actually looking pretty cool. Seems like most of the bugs have gotten worked out. I still can not link my AA2 account yet, and even though I've been through shoot house successfully lots and lots of times, I'm still not showing that I've been successful yet. I find that I'm not able to get my screen bright enough for my tastes, and when I do it seems like after a round or 2 it reverts back to being dark. That's my big complaint about the game. Of course I always have a hard time with "Target Identification", god knows how many times have I shot any of you, LOL.

As far as the server goes, From what little Koojo and I have talked, I think for now I'm going to keep running the AA2 server and we'll see where we are when the year is up. AJW has the AA3 server, which is cool, so for now I think we are all good.

For my opinion, I don't like Steam. Never have never will. I'd suggest getting the client from Big and skip all the steam intrusion into your system, but that's just my opinion...for what it's worth.

Now for something off the subject...Anyone ever hear tell of a virus that can stop you from updating Vista? System I've been working on had a lot of bugs and spy ware and such, plus viruses, and after about 20 hours of work I can not get SP1 to install. Gets to the very end of the process and then fails. Got some research to do this evening I guess.

dose AA3 have coop maps or is it just PvP . i still cant do the traning whats up with that dose anyone know.

vc I belive right now it is all p vs p I have not played all the maps though there are only 5 maps right now.
side note to silver my lappy is having the same issue it will not fully install sp2 for vista I have not screwed wit it
when I can I will and I will report my findings.

The Vista SP thing is caused by a missing or failed to install security update.
